The 67 roadsigns must bear the name ‘ Dingle- Daingean Uí Chúis’.

“This is nothing short of an election gimmick. When John O’Donoghue was addressing the crowd on Dingle pier, at the launch of Féile na Bealtaine last week, he constantly referred to An Daingean. He was speaking in the heart of Dingle but he totally ignored the name ‘Dingle’ and this was insulting to those of us involved in this campaign. The 67 roadsigns must bear the name ‘ Dingle- Daingean Uí Chúis’. That’s what the people voted for and that’s what they want,”
Fergus O'Flaithbheartaigh, Chairman Coiste Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis.
