Recently it has emerged at both local and national level that the final decision to grant the Council’s application to reinstate Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis lies with you. As you are aware, 93% of the townspeople of Dingle voted democratically to have the traditional names reinstated and this was followed by the majority of the elected representatives of Kerry County Council voting in favour of restoring Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis.
