Name change not more difficulty for tourists than the switch from Kingstown to Dún Laoghaire

Madam

Mr Éamon Ó Cuív may feel that using An Daingean should not pose "any more difficulty for tourists than the switch from Kingstown to Dún Laoghaire or from Queenstown to Cobh", but Bray, Co Wicklow, dependent on its seaside tourist trade, officially changed its name to Brí Chualann in 1923 - and with overwhelming local support changed it back to Bray in 1927.
